Glitched Out: Intersections of Race & Technology

We Here logo and text over a black background with a blue, white, and red nodal network design. Text reads: New Study, Community Study: Glitched Out Intersections of Race & Technology. September to December 2023.

In an effort to break the internet, decipher the code, and crash the system, we’re announcing our next Community Study! Join us from September - December 2023 as we interrogate the relationships between race and various technologies, and their intersections (and allegiances) with systems of oppression.

Community Study is a learning space and reading group open to all BIPOC library workers and students. We believe that learning and exploring together is a joyous and generative form of community that facilitates curiosity, intimacy, and care.

This study will engage texts that examine the relationships between race and various technologies, and their intersections (and allegiances) with systems of oppression. The Community Study team is gathering information from participants before setting the fall study schedule! Learn more about participating.
